At Fine Art Fun, we believe art is more than just a craft — it’s a chance for kids to explore, create, and express themselves. Our mission is to teach real art in a fun, supportive environment where every child can feel proud of what they create.
Each week, students draw and paint from inspiring subjects like nature, animals, and famous artists. Using a mix of media — from pastels and watercolors to tempera and acrylics — kids gain new skills, build confidence, and discover their own creative voice.
THE ARTIST BEHIND THE FUN
Michaeline is the spark behind Fine Art Fun. She holds a Master’s in Illustration from Syracuse University and a BFA from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She believes children are capable of real art, that every person carries an artist within, and she creates a playful space where kids experiment, discover, and gain confidence with each work of art they produce.
After ten years in New York City as a textile surface pattern designer, Michaeline returned to Syracuse and began sharing her expertise with children through after-school and homeschool art programs.
She’s also a mother of five boys and lives in Fayetteville with her husband — giving her a firsthand understanding of kids’ energy, creativity, and curiosity.
Her classes go beyond typical arts and crafts. Students explore drawing and painting inspired by nature, animals, and famous artists, experimenting with media like chalk, oil pastels, watercolors, tempera, and acrylics. Michaeline’s goal is to foster creativity, confidence, and a love of real art in every child.
